Planting The Seeds Of A Grassroots Campaign:

Why Small Contributions Make A Big Difference

Planting The Seeds Of A Grassroots Campaign:

Why Small Contributions Make A Big Difference

When most people think about political campaigns, they may conjure up images of glitzy television commercials, large billboards, endless yard signs, and consistent media attention. While these are all necessary evils of every political election, campaigning goes far beyond what meets the eye. A congressional campaign requires countless hours of work and self-sacrifice while taking an emotional toll on the family, friends, and staffers of the person running for office.

Yet for many of us who believe in making a real change for our constituents, the hard work and sacrifices are worth it because we know that we are part of something larger- a greater purpose or calling in life.

However, candidates never truly run for office alone. Every part of the campaign is a team effort- from the staffers who schedule meetings, appearances, and interviews to the volunteers who brave the extreme temperatures to go door to door, forging bonds with the members of our community.

What most people may not realize is that campaign money doesn’t grow on trees- especially at the congressional level- and where a candidate’s money does come from says a lot about who they will be working for once they have taken office.

Many candidates accept the majority of their money from PACs or special interest groups, which is perfectly legal, but the old adage of “money isn’t free” definitely applies in these situations. Candidates often find themselves indebted to these proverbial “debtors” and end up spending the majority of their time in office lobbying for these groups rather than the people.

Our campaign slogan is "Bring The Government  Back To We The People."  Donations of any amount by the people carry far more value in the long run than larger donations by special interest groups because an investment by the people has a greater return for the people.

Contributions in any amount are not only considered generous, but also greatly appreciated. I would personally like to thank you in advance for making a donation, which you can do by clicking on the link, below.
